How Do I change the DNS on a domain name at DomainSystems?
Login to your DomainSystems account. Click here for help on logging into your account.
When you are logged in, you will now be in the “My Account” area.
On the menu on the left, under the “Manage Domains” heading, click on “View Domains” or enter the domain name into the “Domain Search Box” provided in the center of this page.
Click the box next to the domain name(s) that you want to change the DNS (If you want to change the DNS on all the domain names, click on the button that says Select “All”).
Then click on the “DNS link” (this link is located above the list of your domain names).
On the next page, click on the link: “Click Here For The Batch Tool”.
Delete the current DNS that is shown and type in the new DNS information in the fields provided.
Remember, all you need to enter is the DNS, the IP information (ex. 262.55.474) will automatically propagate.
Then press “Save” to save your DNS changes.
On the next page you should receive a message telling you: “Domain DNS Update Order (#) Created Successfully”. Please click here for the Status of your Order.
In order to confirm the name(s) have been updated, take note of your Update Order Number, then click on where it says “Click Here” (right underneath System Message).
You should now be brought to The DomainSystems Account Status Center
On the left, click on the Tracking Reference Number that is associated with your transaction. On the following page, you should see that the domain name(s) have been modified successfully.
An e-mail is then sent to the e-mail address on file for the DomainSystems Account, advising you if the modification was completed successfully.
